Dear Patrice, I just want you to know that I will never be able to thank you enough for all that you did to make our Lori’s wedding the happiest day of her life. From the first day we entered your store to the last moment when we had her wedding gown sent for preservation, we had the most astounding experience! Lori flew in from California and was not sure what kind of gown she wanted. You had such an incredible selection that we soon narrowed it down to ten, then three, and then one. It was one of the most beautiful gowns I had ever seen. You paid such attention to the details–the veils, the tiara, the slippers–absolutely everything. We never had to leave the store! Everything was coordinated from head to toe. She looked beautiful and her groom cried when he saw her. Helen helped me from the first minute I entered your store when the Mother-of-the-Bride shop was across the street until I finally got serious about purchasing my dress. I narrowed it down to three and when I tried on the one pictured, we all knew it was the one. There are a few important times in one’s life when one truly wants to look great. I felt that way totally on my daughter’s wedding day. I received so many compliments on the dress. Everyone wanted to know where I had purchased it and who helped me. Helen chose my necklace, earrings, purse–everything. She was incredible. All the accessories matched and the pictures came out beautifully. A special thank you to Helen. Eva was so wonderful and so kind with the alterations. We seemed to have a lot in common and there was never a mix-up in appointments. Our meetings were prompt and friendly. She was so wonderful in her remarks toward us and we felt comfortable. It was like being with friends–people who really cared about how we were going to look on that special day. Our Melissa chose the gowns for all the bridesmaids and she had such fun doing it. Everything went like clockwork. The majority of the girls were from out of town–Boston, Denver, and Wisconsin. Because Catan’s is so computer-friendly, all the orders were received and processed without any problems. Every girls’ dress fit appropriately. What a relief not worrying about whether the girls would have their dress a few weeks before the wedding. Our Melissa even said she might choose the same color for her own bridesmaids some day. She said the color was so marvelously becoming on every one of them. Patrice, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your staff and you for all the efforts you made in making our Lori and Craig’s day such a special one. You are one fantastic woman who surrounds herself with experts. We never had to worry about anything because we knew we were in the best of hands! I simply had to let you know that we will sing your praises as long as we live. Dear Mrs. Patrice, My daughter, Kristy Sack, is getting married April 2, 2004 and we have been busily planning her wedding. The process started with our very successful first trip to your store for the wonderful Saturday fashion show. We so enjoyed viewing the wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and mother-of-the-bride apparel that we decided to “just try on a couple dresses” after the show. Well … 2 hours and seventeen wedding gowns later, with the wonderful assistance of our saleswoman, Jasmine, we bought the dress of her dreams. Jasmine was patient, hard-working, helpful and full of wonderful advice on choosing the perfect dress for my daughter. We were so pleased with the unbelievable selection you have at your store, the terrific customer service and the large, spacious dressing rooms. Over the last months, I have shopped for (and found) my dress at your store. We have also brought in Kristy’s bridesmaids to see her dress. The saleswomen and alterations department personnel have been wonderful in allowing and helping her model the dress for them. Last weekend, after hearing us rave about your store, we brought in the mother-of-the-groom fro Detroit. She also had a wonderful experience trying on numerous dresses with the help of another wonderful saleswoman–Helen. Although, she couldn’t decide on a dress, she spoke glowingly about the customer service she received at Catan’s and the wide selection she had to choose from. She also mentioned “not a store in the Detroit-area could compare to Catan’s.” During this last visit to your store, we were encouraged to bring Kristy’s gown up to the headpiece/veil department so that she could try on tiaras, veils, jewelry and shoes to complete the accessories she will need for her wedding day. Throughout the tiara selection process (and she must have tried on at least thirty!), Theresa was our wonderfully helpful and very patient saleswoman. She made very thoughtful suggestions and helped Kristy in choosing the right earrings and shoes–all of which she was encouraged to try on with her wedding gown. I decided to sit down and write this letter to you because Kristy and I were so impressed with every aspect of your store. You have truly made the whole shopping process enjoyable, hassle-free and truly a “one stop” shopping experience.
